TEEN OPPORTUNITIES

Summer Aviation Adventure Camp in Cascade, ID (about 80 miles north of Boise) Ages: 16-18
FBC Testimonial (Haley Riffel-Summer 2019): “Haley and I both feel that her experience with Adventures in Missions was awesome. She says she would absolutely go on another STM with them. The great thing about them is they have trips for just about any one, from STM for kids to adults, gap years, semesters of college, women, etc. They go all over the world. Her trip was 2 weeks in El Salvador.” –Gina Riffel
FBC Testimonial (Halvorson Kids): “Over the years our kids went with Teen Missions International. This is a rigorous program including 2-3 week boot camp to prepare for the mission work, usually 1 month in the field and then a 4 day debrief at the end. In believe it is an excellent program, but it is not easy. The program offers several hours of discipleship training per day along with all the work. I actually did it when I was 16 and the program is still going on. All of our kids have done the program as well. Sarah actually did it for two summers. It really helped prepare our two teenagers for the transition to Africa back in 2013. We are so thankful to God for this program.” – Dan Halvorson
INTERNSHIPS
Youth Dynamics has a variety of internship, leadership training and summer staffing options. If you are unsure a permanent ministry position is for you or if you are looking for a STM experience, an internship through YD might be just the opportunity for you.
YD Internship- Must be at least 18 years of age. Recommended age is 18-25 years.
Life & Leadership Training (LLT) - This is a 6-week internship in the summer which is an opportunity for young adults to work closely with stateside missionaries who use wilderness adventures to share the love of Christ. Open to those 16-19 years of age.
Youth Dynamics Summer Staff - Each year YD hires a select number of young adults a Summer Staff to help lead adventure trips for teenagers in the Pacific Northwest. Available to those 18 and older and positions are available at adventure bases in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
