MOPS

Equipping and Encouraging Moms

God doesn't want us to be shy with his gifts, but bold and loving and sensible. 2 Tim 1:7

WELCOME! MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) and MOMS Next is an international organization for all moms of infants to 12th grade (expectant women, too!).  MOPS provides an opportunity to meet other moms in the area and enjoy the journey of motherhood together! We meet on a regular basis to socialize, share struggles, laugh, and learn how to become better mamas and grow as women. MOPS has just recently made a name change to MOMco (cooperative) so we wouldn’t get confused with cleaning products anymore. MOMco will change their name FEB 13, 2024 so keep an eye out. Different name, same mission and community.

What makes MOPS unique? MOPS isn't just another playgroup. We do so much more than just socialize and have fun (though we do have lots of that!) MOPS seeks to equip you to become the best mom and woman you can be through a strong support network of women who are in the same stage of motherhood as you are, through relevant speakers and discussions catered to meet the unique needs of mothers of young children.

OUR MEETINGS Our group meets on two (2) Thursday's of each month; from 9:30-11:30 AM, and includes breakfast (yum!) Once a month we listen to a speaker (topics vary month to month) and once a month make a craft together. We also watch a video with discussion questions about a topic related to motherhood and have uninterrupted adult conversation. Each meeting includes social time, as well as discussion time to talk and get to know each other on a more personal level.

CHILDCARE Childcare is available for children ages 0-6 (Kindergarteners). Newborns up to six months are welcome to stay with you during the meeting or make use of the loving nursery.  Fees for childcare are 1 child = $60 for the semester and 2 children or more = $100 for the semester. Payment plans are available.  Children enjoy a fun program called Moppets, soon to be changed to KidsCo. This is a curriculum with stories, crafts, snacks, and offers a fun, engaging environment for your preschooler. Each children’s ministry worker goes through a background check and is trained to ensure that your child is in the best of hands. The childcare is just down the hall from the meeting space so you can be easily reached if your child needs you!
